Many times in our lives we find ourselves presenting a face to the world that isn't our true self - one that we think will allow us to fit in, to build profitable careers, or to find the love we seek. We often don't realise we are doing this, but instead just feel a sense of stress or discomfort, physical or mental exhaustion, or find ourselves behaving in ways that don't seem healthy or in keeping with our ideals.
My focus is to help you find fulfillment in life by being true to yourself and being more integrated as a person - to help you achieve success and balance in your relationships and in your worklife - whatever success means to you.

Coaching and Counselling

I work with my clients to help them reach their goals, whatever they may be - whether they are to find or maintain a fulfilling relationship, or cope with a stressful work or family situation.

Maybe the stress of your job causes you to lose sleep and so you end up short-tempered and less able to concentrate, leading to conflictual relationships at work and at home? Or you find yourself turning to unhelpful and unhealthy ways to cope with the stress? Or maybe you find yourself constantly having disagreements with those around you and would like to understand what is going wrong?

You might be a person who finds themselves repeating the same unfulfilling patterns in relationships or maybe your anxiety is preventing you from moving forward as you would like, either at school, at home, or in your work life.

I see clients with a variety of needs, from those who just want to make quicker progress in their lives, through to those with more deep-set difficulties. My specialist research interest is in family issues, self esteem and sexuality at midlife, as well as the identification and management of undiagnosed autism traits, particularly in women. How long does it last?

Each session lasts 50 minutes and is normally held at the same time each week for an agreed number of sessions. We will discuss together how long the counselling/ therapy might take to sufficiently address your concerns and we will review this as we go.
Where do the sessions take place?
I have a practice  in the Croydon area, where I normally see clients face to face in a warm and tranquil garden room (see photos above). I also do online sessions via Zoom. Sessions  are arranged at a time that is mutually convenient - either daytime or evening.

What if I am unsure if this is for me?

The success of the counselling/ therapy depends very much on the therapeutic relationship between us and so I would encourage you to have an initial consultation so we can see whether we might be able to work together. There is no obligation to continue if you don't feel this is for you.

How much does it cost?

The fee is £90-£110 a session. We can discuss affordability at your initial consultation, as there are various options available.
